In an attempt to provide accurate and transparent information to the public regarding environmental conditions, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, through the Directorate of Air Pollution Control in the Directorate General of Environmental Quality Management (Ditjen PPKL), has taken significant steps by establishing a continuous ambient air quality monitoring system known as the Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS).

KLHK Air Quality Monitoring System assists the government in identifying areas with high pollution levels, evaluating the effectiveness of existing environmental policies, and planning more efficient air pollution control measures.

AQMS Passed Connectivity Test
The Mertani Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) has been officially certified by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLH) for connectivity. This certification ensures that data sent from the company's internal system to the KLH's Emission Monitoring Information System (SISPEK) has been validated, so that the information presented is more accurate and can support efforts to control air pollution in a sustainable manner.

Installation of the Air Quality Monitoring System in Karawang, West Java
Recently, the Mertani team installed an Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) in the Karawang region of West Java. The installation aims to support air quality monitoring in industrial areas. With this system in place, potential increases in pollution can be detected immediately, and decisions regarding pollution control can be made more quickly and accurately.
