This Collector Assembly for Siphon Rain Gauges helps increase rainfall accuracy during high intensity rainfall events. A siphon collector can be paired with a new tipping assembly to turn any 525 series rain gauge into any collector size siphon rain gauge. The siphon collector assembly has a small screen built in and provides sufficient debris protection in many situations. However if extra protection is desired the screen and snap ring can be added.
